Why Montessori School Important for Toddlers
The Casa Dee Montessori School is among Bolton's best continuously
operating Montessori schools. Casa Dee Montessori for Toddler in Bolton opened during a
period of great enthusiasm for the methodology of the Montessori school of
teaching. It is situated in a historic building that was once Bolton Public
Library. The location allows us to provide services to Bolton & Brampton
area. In The Montessori School Bolton, children learn to question, explore, and
are amazed by the joy of learning. We help each child discover their
extraordinary and unique talents. We are an affiliate of the Canadian
Montessori Society and licensed by the State of Ontario. The school operates
daily, four or five days a week, full and half time. We also offer an
extended-care program in the morning and a lunch program. The program is open
to children aged two years and up to 9 months—six years into the program.
The Primary program at Countryside
Montessori and Private School runs for three full days, five full days, or five
full days. The program comprises five learning areas of Montessori School that
challenge children and develop a solid knowledge of each step and lay the
foundation for future study.
Practical Life: In the first
few years of children's lives, imitating is among the most intense urges they
experience. Practical life activities permit the child to mimic diverse tasks
like greeting people by hand, cleaning the floor, watering a flower, and
folding their clothes. These practical life activities aim to encourage
independence ("Help me complete the task by myself") and coordination
focus, order, and create opportunities for interaction with others through
lessons in courtesy and grace.
Language: The
activities in the area of language allow children to expand their vocabulary
and focus on writing and reading. Sandpaper letters help the child form letters
and teach the phonetic sounds of every note.
